Responsibilities
conducting continuous market monitoring through the analysis of price trends, raw material availability and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks for the organization
actively seeking and qualifying new suppliers, as well as building a base of alternative supply sources on both a local and global scale
conducting advanced commercial negotiations covering prices, payment terms, logistics costs, delivery guarantees and price stability
optimizing the total cost of ownership (TCO) by analyzing all cost components, including transport, warehousing, quality and losses
building and developing long-term relationships with suppliers towards strategic partnerships
collaborating with the R&D, purchasing and sales departments regarding raw material selection
preparing analyses, reports and cost forecasts supporting decision-making processes within the organization
participating in the development and optimization of purchasing processes, including the implementation of tools supporting purchasing digitalization and automation
Expectations
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position within the procurement area
Higher education, either specialist or supporting the execution of the role (e.g., economics, logistics, management, finance)
English language proficiency at a minimum level of B2, enabling fluent business communication
Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
Practical knowledge of market AI tools, process automation, and solutions supporting workflow optimization
Highly developed analytical skills and the ability to work with data
Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in the areas of negotiation and building business relationships
Meticulousness, accuracy, and excellent self-organization of work
Welcome
