SFD Launches Sales in Slovakia

SFD S.A. commences sales to retail customers in Slovakia on October 11, 2021. The sale of the Company's products will be conducted through its own e-commerce store and in cooperation with local product ambassadors, mirroring the model established in the Czech Republic, where the Company initiated operations at the beginning of May this year.

This is therefore the Company’s second foreign market where the Management Board has decided to launch sales based on the model proven in Poland: proprietary e-commerce + direct deliveries to customers + robust marketing. As in the Czech Republic, the product offering will primarily consist of proprietary brands, and deliveries to customers will be fulfilled directly from the Company's warehouse in Opole.

We are leveraging previously developed solutions. Deliveries to Slovakia will be handled by the same logistics operator as in the Czech market. We are very pleased with our entry into the Czech Republic; after several months of sales, revenues from this market are exceeding our expectations and growing. Therefore, I am convinced that Slovak customers will also receive our offer warmly. We are analyzing other markets where we could apply the same model and deliver purchases from the warehouse in Opole within a short timeframe. We are constantly developing our sales. This is our priority, and this is where our focus lies.

– commented Mateusz Pazdan, President of the Management Board of SFD S.A.

The Company decided to launch sales in Slovakia four months after commencing sales in the Czech Republic. In these two foreign markets, the Company fulfills deliveries from its warehouse in Opole, where customers purchase products through the Company's proprietary websites. Sales in other foreign markets are conducted primarily through major external e-commerce platforms. The Company is working to scale its sales volume in markets outside Poland, where it is achieving substantial success. A marketing campaign based on collaboration with influencers and brand ambassadors will commence shortly in Slovakia. At present, the Company is not considering opening brick-and-mortar stores in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, although this retail format is also highly successful in Poland and, furthermore, serves as an important element of customer education and service.
