Sustainable development

Our business model is constantly evolving. As a responsible brand, we take into account ESG (Environmental, social, and corporate governance) factors and their impact on the overall financial result. We plan our business so that it benefits not only shareholders or employees, but also the environment and society, especially in terms of long-term actions and impacts.

OUR CURRENT ACTIVITIES

Currently, our objectives are realised within the ESG staff team. This team creates and democratically selects the projects in which we engage as a company. We call this ‘grassroots work‘. We save energy and water, we make our workplace environmentally friendly, we get involved in local social initiatives, and we implement mechanisms to democratise our own way of working. We do all this as part of our annual calendar of ESG initiatives.

‘Grassroots work’ will be continued until the end of 2023, when we will develop a business strategy for 2023-2030 as a sustainability strategy. We will also implement systemic solutions to collect the necessary data for ESRS reporting.

In our approach to business strategy, we will consider the definition of strategy in ESRS 2 (AG 24.): “A strategy is the plan to achieve an undertaking’s defined mission and vision and apply its core values. It incorporates the set of goals or purposes an undertaking assigns itself in terms of delivering certain defined products and services to defined categories of customers in certain defined geographic areas under a defined framework of relationships with all stakeholders.” We will re-formulate the vision and mission together with the employees – based on the existing content and agreed values.

OUR ESG TEAM

Our ESG team includes employees from ALL departments of the company, and through our collective ingenuity our annual calendar of ESG initiatives is produced.

OUR ESG INITIATIVES

ENVIRONMENT

We do not consent to the progressive degradation of our planet. We feel a sense of responsibility on both an individual and a business level. For this reason, we take measures to minimise the environmental impact of our activities.
  • We invest in green energy sources (photovoltaics).
  • We are introducing energy-efficient light bulbs.
  • We use rechargeable batteries instead of batteries.
  • We use reusable bags inside our organisation.
  • We manage waste responsibly.
  • We are countering the waste of water and food.

SOCIETY

We know how important it is to help others, which is why we are very enthusiastic about getting involved in various community initiatives, volunteering and helping those in need.
  • We nurture a good relationship between our company and the establishments we support.
  • We communicate in a transparent, friendly way and our marketing is carried out in a responsible and friendly manner to our audience.
  • We organise charitable activities aimed at helping senior citizens and the families in need in our area.

STAFF

  • Our most recent project: the restructuring and modernisation of staff offices.
